Ilse Moreau

Wood-fired stoneware, ash glaze · 28 × 22 cm · 2026

Ilse carried a stone home from the shore at Bushwick Inlet and kept it on her wheel for a month. The jar follows its shoulder and its slight lean.

In the kiln, ash landed on one side and ran down in a green line. She left it exactly as it came out.
