A study made from the roof of a friend’s building on North 7th Street, looking toward the water. Three roofs, a water tower and a strip of river at the very top.
Maren keeps her gouache studies small so she can finish them in one sitting. This one was painted in about forty minutes, before the sun moved off the brick.
